*giggles* It made me want Oreos. ;) I've never made a crocheted cookie (laughing) but it was fun. Actually, the idea came to me while I was driving home ;)
PS..on my FB .. Chuc wants me to put into detail what I did. So I will be updating here in a moment. He's gong to be so disappointed hehe ;)
Thank you ladies..seriously! It was Mucho Funo! ;)
I've been asked on how I made the cookie. WHILE it didn't take long, it was a bit stubborn. If you know how to crochet a circle, watch this:

Now, she does it a little differently than I do. I single stiched three, and I used a little larger needle, I use an M or an N. Also, I don't do the triple stitch she does.. I loop, through the center, loop again, then slip the loop through all loops for that stitch. It's a tad easier as it's not as tight. I wanted it to look like a cookie. I also don't connect I just start doing the same thing on the next row. I've been told that I crochet backwards. Since I taught myself, it's highly likely, but it works for me. Now, on the second row, I stopped and turned around to go back the other way. That way, when I got all the way back around, there was a "slit" that was not connected.
I made two separate circles the exact same way. In "stuffing" the "white stuff" aka Stuffing, I had to sew these together. I tried to make sure it was far enough in that you couldn't see the brown thread inside the stuffing.
Of course, then I had to cut the "bite/aka Slit of white stuff in order to hang this on the glass.
The "stuffing" inside is the "milk" and helped to hold the "cookie".
I FREAKIN' LOVE THIS!!
ReplyDeleteHow Cute is that!!!!!!!
